Killing Joke started out as a Punk band with a sound like The Clash in the early 80’s and evolved into a more Industrial sounding band in the 90’s. I bought this 1986 release when I was living in Claymont. It’s another Promotion Only record from the record store in Penny Hill. That store always had them for sale. Very 80’s sounding with heavy use of synthesizers and electronic drums. I really like the four songs on side one “Adorations”,”Sanity”,”Chessboards”,and “Twilight Of The Mortal”. I remember playing this a lot in the second floor apartment we were living in next to the sub shop. The songs on side two are similar to the first side but not as good. I only liked “Rubicon”. The record itself still sounds good and was produced at a high volume.
