This is a record from 1977. Another one I bought when it came out but I don’t have anymore. This is a re-issue I bought sometime later. Still with mostly a progressive sound it is their last good record. The title track on side one and “The Spider/Portrait(He Knew)” are good songs. “Sparks Of The Tempest” on side two is also really good but also on that side is “Dust n The Wind” a song that was overplayed and one I never liked. The band is still active today with only two original members guitarist Rich Williams and drummer Phil Ehart. Kerry Livgren and bassist Dave Hope left in the 80’s to play Christian Music. Keyboard player Steve Walsh and violinist Robbie Steinhardt left and later returned. Steinhardt died in July of 2021.
