Judas Priest-Redeemer Of Souls Posted on September 16, 2021 by David Meader Rob Halford left the band for most of the 90’s returning in 2003. This is their third album since his return. A 2014 release its one I bought when it came out. It has a flashy high gloss cover and I thought I would see what they sounded like now. K.K. Downing had just left the band but Glen Tipton and Bassist Ian Hill still remained. With a new second guitarist and drummer Scott Travis. Of the five Judas Priest albums I have there is a different drummer on each one. As usual I only listened to side one of this two record set when I bought it. The record is what you would expect, good Heavy Metal, sounding like anything they did in the 70’s,although Halford is singing in a much lower register,no more falsetto screams.
