Journey-Captured

A live album from 1981. As with their lat three albums it features artwork by Kelly and Mouse who also did covers for The Grateful Dead. They play some of the best songs from their last six records staying pretty close to the studio versions. The stretch it out a little on “Walks Like A Lady/La Do Da” with solos by Neal Schon,Gregg Rolie and drummer Steve Smith. My favorite songs are “Dixie Highway” a song not on any album and “The Party’s Over(Hopelessly In Love)” a single recorded in the studio. Gregg Rolie left the band after this tour and was replaced with Jonathan Cain formally of The Babies.
