Their second album from early 1976. Since I liked the first record so much I bought this as soon as it came out. All but one song written by Gregg Rolie and Neal Schon. The first song “On A Saturday Night” is a good rocker as are the other four songs on the side including a cover of “It’s All Too Much” the George Harrison song from the Yellow Submarine soundtrack. It’s OK but I never heard a Beatles cover that was better than the original.Side two is the one I liked best with three longer songs in the more Progressive style of their first record. The mostly instrumental “Midnight Dreamer” has some nice Jazzy solos on electric piano and guitar. “I’m Gonna Leave You” and the title track are also good with more solos. As with all my records from this period it’s a little scratchy with a skip in the opening seconds of “On A Saturday Night”.
