This is one I bought in 2015 when it came out. It was the first record I bought of hers since the CD I had of 2003’s The Evening Of My Best. I had played side one a few times and liked it. Recorded in New Orleans with help from some local musicians. “Jimmy Choos” and “Infinity” were the ones I liked best. The rest of the side is pretty good. “Valtz De Mon Pere(Lovers Oath)”has a Country/Bluegrass sound to it and “J’ai Connais Pas” sounds like something from the 50’s. Side two has too many slow songs I didn’t like very much but “Haunted” may be the best song on the record.
