Joan Jett & The Blackhearts-Greatest Hits

She was a member of the Runaways in the 70’s and formed her own band The Blackhearts in 1980.This is a two record set released in 2010. One I bought new in 2016. It has all her best songs like “Cherry Bomb” a Runaways song that Joan wrote. There are also re-recordings of two other Runaways songs done in 2009.”Bad Reputation” now always makes me think of Freaks and Geeks the TV show. I never watched it when it was on but I binged watched it about five years ago and that song is used as the opening. Also on here are some great covers “I Love Rock And Roll”,”Do You Want To Touch Me(Oh Yeah)”,”Crimson And Clover”,”Androgynous”,the Replacements song,”,”A.C.D.C.”,the Sweet song and even “Love Is All Around” the theme from The Mary Tyler Moore Show. “Light Of Day” is a song written by Bruce Springsteen from the film of the same name that stared Joan Jett and Michael J. Fox. A good record but I wish it had photos and more extensive liner notes.
