This is a record from 2018. One I bought at Barnes & Noble for half price($11). These are songs written by Gary Louris and other artists including The Dixie Chicks,Jakob Dylan,and other people I don’t know. Most of these songs were recorded on these artists own albums,I have heard “Gonna Be A Darkness” written with Jakob Dylan on the radio from Dylan’s own record. Not quite covers since Louris is a co-writer but the first time he has recorded them. This is the most Country sounding record by the Jayhawks and my least favorite. The Only song I really liked is “Carry Me To Safty” one written by Louris alone.
