This ambitious 2015 release is a three record set with a trifold cover at over 92 minutes long. The same line-up that recorded the Live After Death album I listened to yesterday with an added third guitarist. This was almost $50 with tax but well worth it. The inside cover has cool artwork featuring Eddie their mascot and the three record sleeves have Mayan inspired artwork with lyrics. The music is very good, sounding like any of their albums from the 80’s. There are two songs on each side with the 18 minute “Empire Of The Clouds”,featuring some piano by Bruce Dickinson, taking up side 6. The 13 and a half minute “The Red And The Black” is my favorite song and one I put on my playlist for work and on the road. I’m liking it more every time I hear it. First time listening to the entire album,”The Book Of Souls” and “The Man Of Sorrows” are two others I liked. A great record that stands with any of the best from the 80’s.
