Emily Saliers and Amy Ray each write their own songs ,sing and play acoustic guitar.The record is pretty good,I like side one the best and Amy’s songs better than Emily’s. “Closer To Fine” by Emily was released as a single and the song I heard on the radio prompting me to buy the album. My favorites all written by Amy Ray are “Secure Yourself”,”Land Of Canaan”.”Center Stage”, with a nice acoustic guitar solo, and the intense “Blood And Fire”. I had four or five of their other albums on cassette or CD.
