This is a live recording taken from three shows in Japan in 2009. They play Icon original plus songs from bands John Wetton and Geoffrey Downs have been in. There is an instrumental version of “Tempus Fugit” by Yes as well as songs by King Crimson, UK and Asia. They even play a short instrumental of “Video Killed The Radio Star” by Downes’s first band The Buggles. The sound on the record is not too good. Bass and drums are way back in the mix,Downes’s keyboard playing is average and Wetton whose voice I always liked sounds a little off on this one. Ther is an acoustic “Heat Of The Moment” that sounds OK and guitarist Dave Kilminster(son of the late Ian”Lemmy” Kilminster) plays a decent solo on “In The Dead Of Night”. Overall a dissapointing record another one for the reject pile even though it is a numbered limited release of 1000. I did have two John Wetton live solo CD’s that were better than this but they were sold in 2013.
