Bruce Hornsby & The Range-Scenes From The Southside

I liked his first record so much I bought his second when it came out in 1988. I was not dissapointed as it was more of the same piano driven Soft Rock. Again it has three songs I really like “Look Out Any Window”,”The Valley Road”,And “Jacob’s Ladder” although I was more familiar with Huey Lewis’s cover of the song that came out a year earlier. He does some nice jamming on the fadeout of “The Road Not Taken” showing he could fit right in when he played piano for The Grateful Dead on their last tours. He made one more record with The Range that I also bought but sold it as it wasn’t as good as the first two. I had several more of his solo records on CD which I think I still have.
