Groovy Decay was his second record from 1982. It was later released in 1985 with the title Groovy Decoy. This substituted some songs with demos, left off one song and changed the running order of the songs. In the 90’s I bought a CD called Gravy Deco that had both records on it. I bought this record about a year or two ago for a few dollars. Although the record label has a sticker on it that says Made in England the writing on the label, other than the titles,is in German. The record itself is not very good. Produced by Steve Hillage and featuring Sara Lee on bass and Anthony Thistlehwaite of The Waterboys on sax. The only song I like is “When I Was A Kid”. “It Was The Night” and “St. Petersburg” are not too bad but I probably won’t be keeping this record.
