Robyn Hitchcock is an Englishman who was in the band The Soft Boys in the late 70’s. He’s a rather eccentric type with songs often humorous and surreal. He has put out many albums,this one is with his sometime band The Egyptians. Released in 1988 this is the first of many of his records I would buy, most on cassette an CD. This is one of his best with great songs like “Vibrating”,”Balloon Man”,”Chinese Bones”, “Sleeping With Your Devil Mask”,and “Flesh Number One(Beatle Dennis)”,as good an English Pop song as anything out there.
