I do’t know why I bought this record,probably because it was only $13 being an EP. I did not know who Halsey was but being on the Astralwerks label that usually has artists in the Ambient/Trance vein I thought this might be in that style. After playing it I discovered Halsey was a woman who sings in an unusual accent sounding somewhat like Aurora whose record I bought around the same time. The Music is Electronic Pop/Dance music. It sounds like Chvrches or Sleigh Bells. The five songs are not too bad. The last song “Trouble” is backed only by piano. Apparently this is her first release from 2014.
