Grobschnitt were a German band that formed in 1970 and lasted about twenty years.This record is a reunion of sorts(I don’t know if any original members are in this band)where they played Rockpommel”s Land ,a concept album from 1977, and their most well known record. That is one I had on CD. It’s something about a boy and a giant bird. The music is pretty good,heavy on thesynthesizers,sounding something like Genesis. The lyrics are more like a story than a song,sometimes sung,sometimes spoken.
