The debut album from this Indie band,really a solo project from founder Ed Droste,from 2004. This is a 15 year anniversary edition that came out in 2020 on clear vinyl with black splatter. The music is kind of Folky and Lo-Fi with quirky vocals and odd instrumentation,sometimes sounding like My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse,or Animal Collective. I had only listened to side one once before. With 14 songs totaling over 48 minutes it’s a lot to take in on one sitting. Need to listen to this more. The song that stuck out to me was “Eavesdropping” that has some nice violin in it.
