This is a show from 1967, on three records, playing songs from their first two records. Not as polished as they would be in the 70’s they still do some nice jamming on some of these songs. They start off with five covers that the Grateful dead have made their own including “Morning Dew” and”Good Morning Little Schoolgirl” with Pigpen singing and blowing some harmonica. His organ also plays a big part of their sound. They still have that very psychedelic San Francisco sound and heavy blues influence at this point. They jam on “That’s It For The Other One” and 30 minutes of “Alligator>Caution(Do Not Step On Tracks)” that is split between sides 5 and 6. This came out in 2016 when I bought it.
