Go-Live From Paris

A live album recorded in Paris in June of 1976.The same line up that recorded the studio album is present with help from Pat Thrall and Jerome Rimson, who with Shrieve were in the band Automatic Man,Brother James, who worked with Winwood in Traffic, and female backup singers. They play the complete studio album, extending some songs on this two record set. Some highlights are “Man Of Leo” at 15 minutes long and featuring some awesome guitar by Al Di Meola. “Crossing The Line” is also good with Pat Thrall playing guitar on that one. “Windspin” is a funky fusion instrumental. The playing is excellent throughout and better than the studio album, making it obsolete. That record will go in the reject pile. I saw this record in some kind of music catalog sometime in the 80’s and always wanted to buy it but could never find it anywhere. About four years ago I found a used copy and bought it. The record and cover are in good shape.
