His first solo album after leaving Genesis. This came out in 1977. It contains the big hit “Solsbury Hill” a really great song.”Modern Love” also got some airplay on FM radio. “Humdrum” also on side one is a good song.Side two is defective, there is a scratchy sound all the way through the record.Probably why it was in the dollar bin. Those songs are more experimental some getting a little Bluesy and others with some orchestration. He is helped out on this record by Robert Fripp,Tony Levin, both of King Crimson, and Larry Fast.I bought this for a dollar about three years ago. Although side two is pretty much unplayable side one is worth keeping it.
