This 1973 album from Robert Fripp and Brian Eno was an early attempt at ambient music. A groundbreaking record at the time it used tape loops and drone sounds over which Fripp added his guitar textures. There are two side long pieces on the record,”The Heavenly Music Corporation”and “Swastika Girls”. Side one is pretty quiet while side two is more aggressive with some parts sounding like King Crimson’s Starless and Bible Black album recorded around the same time. Not a record you would want to listen to very often. The duo made two more records together, one in 1975 and one in 2004. The record I have is a U.K. import I bought used in the early 90’s when I was living in Philly. It still has the $7.99 price sticker on it. The record has a noticeable scratchyness throughout the record but no skips. The gatefold cover is a cool picture with mirrored reflections on the outside and inside of the cover.
