After the great self titled album of 1975 I didn’t think anything could top that but along came Rumors in 1977. A truly amazing record that ended up being one of the best selling records of all time. The two couples in the band had broken up and most of the songs dealt with their relationships. “Dreams”,”Never Going Back Again”,”Don’t Stop”,”Go Your Own Way”,”The Chain”,”You Make Loving Fun” and”Oh Daddy” were all songs about that subject. With excellent production, varied instrumentation and nice harmonies by the three singers this record is a favorite. This is the high point of this band who went through many changes in their existence as told in Mick Fleetwood’s book that I read in 1992. I bought this record new in 1982 the year I got married. It was a record that my wife liked also.
