This is a collection of songs recorded from 2003-2005 that did not make it onto one of their records. It also includes four covers by Tom Petty,Dylan,Tom T. Hall and Warren Zevon’s “Play It All Night Long” that fits in well with their whole Lynyrd Skynyrd thing. Jason Isbell’s TVA is paired with Cooley’s “Uncle Frank” ,another view of the TVA ,originally on their second album in an alternate take. Isbell’s “When The Well Runs Dry” is also a good song.Hood’s “Goode’s Field Road is a faster version than the one on Brighter Than Creation’s Dark and his “Great Car Dealer War” is a song about crime in the South. The record closes with “Like A Rolling Stone” with all four singers,Hood,Cooley,Isbell and Tucker taking a verse.
