By this time(1978) the band was basically a vehicle for Michael McDonad who was the writer and singer of six of the ten songs on the record. Tom Johnston had left the band and Patrick Simmons wrote the other four songs, one an instrumental. The only song that had some of the old Doobie’s rocking style was his “Don’t Stop To Watch The Wheels”. The Country styled “Sweet Feelin'” has backing vocals by Nicolette Larson. Most of McDonald’s songs are on side one with three released as singles,”Dependin’ On You”,”Minute By Minute”,and “What A Fool Believes”,which was their biggest selling hit. This is a pleasant enough record to listen too,I just don’t consider this a proper Doobie Brothers album. I bought this used about ten years ago.The cover and record are in very good shape.Since it has no UPC code on it I assume it is an original pressing.
