This record came out in 1973 which is probably when I bought it. This is the second version of the band with Ian Gillan and Roger Glover replacing Rod Evans and Nick Simper. The classic lineup of this band, they broke up shortly after this was released but got back together in 1984. One of my favorite live albums it included “Smoke On The Water” their best known song. “Child In Time” is my favorite on the record with some great screaming from Ian Gillan. “Space Truckin” and “Lazy” feature some electronics by Jon Lord and “The Mule” has Ian Pace’s drum solo. Ritchie Blackmore plays some awesome guitar throughout.
