Named after a Frank Sinatra movie this Scottish trio’s record has a Sinatra sound about it. These are Pop songs many with a Jazz leaning. I really like side one with the first three songs “Davy”,”Aberdeen”,and “Mary’s Prayer” being very good and the next four certainly not bad. Side two which I never listened to very much does have perhaps my favorite on the record “Five Friendly Aliens”. Apparently they made another record but I have never seen or heard it. I bought this record in 1987 when it came out after hearing “Mary’s Prayer” on the radio. In ’87 I was living in Claymont next to a well know sub shop. The air always smelled like onions and cheesesteaks.
