Neil Finn was in the New Zealand band Split Enz which included many members including his brother Tim at one time but broke up in 1984 after being together for about 10 years. He then formed the band Crowded House in 1986 this being their debut record. The record had three good songs that got some airplay “Now We’re Getting Somewhere”,Something So Strong”,and my favorite”Don’t Dream It’s Over”. I really like the chorus of that song. I bought their next two albums Temple of Low Men and Woodface but I sold them. Tim Finn had joined the band for Woodface, that has some good songs on it but was not as good as this one.
