This is their entire set at Woodstock. They went on early Sunday morning after the Grateful Dead’s performance. John Fogerty reportedly didn’t like their show and refused to put them on the original soundtrack or movie. I don’t know what he was thinking. First of all the music is very loud,I had to turn the volume down a little. They run through 11 songs in about 55 minutes starting out with “Born On The Bayou”. They play some of their hits like “Proud Mary”,”Green River” and “Bad Moon Rising” and a rousing “Bootleg”.They also do some great covers of “I Put A Spell On You” and Ray Charles’s “The Nigh Time Is The Right Time”. They end the show with two long renditions of “Keep On Chooglin” and “Suzie Q”,both over ten minutes. These feature some nice guitar by John Fogerty and rhythm guitar by brother Tom. This was released in 2019 fifty years after the concert.
