
Their third album,one side studio one side live. The studio side opens with “White Room” probably their best known song. Every song on the studio side is on the compilation Heavy Cream except Baker’s weird “Pressed Rat And Warthog”. I listened to the live side recorded at the Fillmore and Winterland in San Francisco in March of ’68. The two songs on side three, “Crossroads ” and “Spoonful” show of Clapton’s guitar work but I believe his best playing was with Derek And The Dominoes. Side four has some awesome harmonica by Jack Bruce on “Traintime” and “Toad features Ginger Baker’s amazing 15 minute drum solo. Another reissue I bought in 2016.
