This came out in 1990 and is the third album from this band from L.A, led by Jhonette Napolitano’s vocals,James Mankey on guitar and ex Roxy Music drummer Paul Thompson. I had this on cassette and played it a lot when I was living in Philadelphia. It is their best album and both sides are good. “Bloodletting(The Vampire Song)” which has a Gothic sound to it and has been used in many TV shows and movies, “Caroline” and “I Don’t Need A Hero” on side one are very good. Side two’s best songs are “Days And Days”,”Tomorrow,Wendy” and “Joey” their best know song. Since I liked this record so much I bought their two earlier records and their next two on cassette. The band broke up in 1993 and reunited four years later putting out three more records and one live record which I bought on CD. These were not as good as their earlier ones. Their first five records have been released on vinyl the last few years which is when I bought this one.
