This is an English trio led by Terry Hall formally of The Specials and Fun Boy Three. They play a kind of 60’s pop music with an 80’s feel. Many of the songs are acoustic based. I bought this in 1985 when it came out when I was living in Hull ,Mass. The U.S. version has two more songs than the European release subtracting two songs and adding a single and three B sides. Every song on side one is good,especially “Pushing Up The Daisies” , “Take” and “Thinking Of You”. Side two is slightly less favorable but does have a great cover of the Roches “Hammond Song”. I saw the Roches plat that song at a concert in the park in Reading that was shortened by an approaching hurricane. A good record to listen to anytime. They made one more record which I have never seen or heard.
