One of the many side projects of Les Claypool, bassist for Primus. He gets together with Bryan Kehoe to play some kind of hillbilly Country Bluegrass. Not sure if this is meant to be taken seriously.Mostly covers and reworking of Primus songs and Claypool solo material. Some of the covers like “Stayin’ Alive” and “Man In The Box” don’t work in this style, while others like Jerry Reed’s “Amos Moses” seem a better fit. I don’t really like this record and don’t know if I would ever play it again. I guess the only song I really like is a cover of the Surf Rock hit Pipeline from the 60’s.
