This is their 24th album from 2014. The last music I had heard from them was 2003’s “Forget Yourself”. With only Kilbey andKoppes remaining from the original band they recruited Ian Haug from the Australian band Powerfinger to replace Wilson-Piper who had moved to Sweden. The 15 songs on this two record set seem more mellow but still sound like The Church. I had only played side one three or four times and liked the songs on it. Listening to all four sides for the first time I like”Lightning White” and “Miami” the best as they seem more uptempo than the rest. They have a new record out in 2017 but I have not seen it yet. I will buy any of their albums from the 90’s that I can find but I don’t think many have been released on vinyl.
