The second solo album from REM guitarist Peter Buck. This is a vinyl only release from 2014.Although not the best singer his backing band really rocks out. Patterson Hood of Drive by Truckers tells another story about living in Georgia on “Southerner” and Corin Tucker of Sleater Kinney sings on the morbid “Drown with Me”.”Gotta Get Outta the House”is a Ramones Tribute?,parody? and “West of Sunset” is pure 60’s pop. Another new album from the 50% off bin in a local record store.I bought this early in 2019 and this is the first time listening to it. A fun record, this one will be listened to again soon.
